Cash Only is a 15 minute documentary completed in the context of Social Justice Documentary, a course within the film minor at Georgetown. This piece was created in just under six weeks with three students including myself.

Our director, Rebecca Truong, had heard that the City of Falls Church (a city in Northern Virginia) was planning on tearing down a coveted Vietnamese cultural hub: Eden Center. Our documentary details the perspectives of city planners, powerful local activists, and community members. Ultimately, we wanted to understand the fine line between well-intentioned city innovation and continued structural violence against the Asian American community in the DMV
